I am a skillful and dedicated leader with extensive background delivering expertise, excellence and measurable results between cross-collaborative internal teams and external partners, while focusing on achievable, sustainable and evidence-based results. I am a high performing, creative thinker developing innovative ways to obtain desired outcomes while building lasting, trustful partnerships in healthcare. I am based in in two Charleston locations, WV and SC.  My work is focused on producing quality product and making a significant impact. I’m happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained in my career in order to manage projects through creative problem solving and innovative thinking.  I tend to think outside the box and introduce creative ideas and innovative solutions to capture improved patient outcomes, experience and revenue. My certification in medical coding (CPC) also allows me to educate providers and staff on how to capture HCC's to accurately reflect the true health status of the patient so that the appropriate funding can be obtained to care for the patient.  My specialization in Value Based Care and Population Health Mangement from the University of Houston allows me to engage with providers, leadership and support staff to educate and guide them down a continuum to successful VBC contracts.  My trusted partner, my dog Tino, is a fabulous executive assistant!

Develop and manage the Medicaid, CHIP and DSNP line of Business for the State of WV and oversee all contract negotiation, ensuring network adequacy.  Negotiated rates, payment methodologies and language for all contracts, ensuring compliance.

PROVIDER ENGAGEMENT EXECUTIVE, NATIONAL PAYOR

Professionally collaborate with physicians, provider groups & hospitals in WV to educate, train, transition and support value-based agreements (VBA).  Oversee the first Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) VBA in WV.
